Use Your Tools!

The students in the Pharmacy Technician Program are building today using their tools. Today's tools of choice are the metric and apothecary equivalents. Every program has tools. Culinary has cutting tools and food preparation tools. They have tools that pharmacy has also. They have to know equivalents. Almost all of pharmaceutical mathematics and dosing of medications has a basic equivalent that must be memorized. Imagine going to get your oil changed and have the service person ask you for an oil filter wrench. We must be proficient in the use of our "tools".
